For this 3D project I had to explore how contrasting colours, shapes and textures play important roles in the design of exciting architecture. This is to create a contrasting extension to one of the iconic buildings in Birmingham and the building that I decided to work on is The Cube, beside the Mailbox, which is one of the city’s landmark buildings. I researched different artists like Frank Gehry and Oscar Niemeyer for inspiration and ideas for my own work as I found their styles really interesting.
