I am an easy going guy who likes to create imaginative photography with a meaning. I have enjoyed working within the studio and borrowing the kit to take home and experiment further, in the open air, with the slow shutter, fire shot
The Main idea for my AS Work was to use the medium of Product Advertising and to portray the use of Energy, as well as using Product Photography in general to convey different feelings and emotions through the products. It started by being inspired by the techniques and being inspired into centring a project around it. This was also where my main style with Light Painting and Long exposure started to develop, this is seen to adapt and evolve throughout the project.
Overall, I believe that I have done decently well with these Red Bull Energy shots. Using Light painting techniques has intrigued me since the start of the course and now having done these images it feels like a good point to start newer and more unique ideas. Personally, I think of this Final piece as a bit of a Magnum Opus for me in terms of Long Exposure Photography. It incorporates both the styles and ideas of my photographers: Eric Staller and Eran Hakim. Whether it’s the use of Warm and Cold or Light and Dark both artists used Juxtaposition to convey meaning and so do my Final Photos.
