The theme for my second project was to design an interior architecture piece that incorporates a complimenting style as opposed to my first project which was contrasting architecture. In this course, I had the opportunity to go around Birmingham taking pictures of iconic landmarks such as The Bullring, Selfridges and Grand Central. This allowed me to gain inspiration towards the construction of both projects, especially incorporating the details of 19th century architecture at the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery (BM&AG) into my final pieces. Some other inspirations that influenced my designs were four architects: Daniel Libeskind, Elizabeth Diller, Zaha Hadid and Rem Koolhaas.
