About My Theme: In this project I chose to look at Islamophobia. It is something which has been going on around the world for decades and unless someone actually tries to put an end to it, this discrimination of an entire religion will carry on for decades to come. I decided I was to look at the following artists as my inspiration, David Carson, Steve McCurry and a few more, I was especially drawn towards Steve McCurry’s image of the girl with the green eyes, ‘Afghan Girl’. I wanted to create something similar to this but for my theme. So as you go through some of my work you will see ideas which have been inspired by my artists.
