Dylan Toon

In this project, I designed and created a sculpture which amplifies a warning to society that their waste and energy consumption is damaging to the earth. I have used scrap pieces of metal to create the hand and used spot welding to join the parts together for the lightbulb and to create the initial frame for the hand. I purposely used scrap pieces of metal and deliberately damaged some pieces myself to fully convey my message of the dramatic impact humanity has had on the world.
